The Helios Fans Radial Roof Fan RDW 180/2 is a horizontally discharging roof fan with an efficiency-optimized aluminum housing and a newly developed high-performance radial impeller. The housing is made of seawater-resistant aluminum and features an integrated protection against accidental contact. The motor mounting plate and base plate are equipped with an inlet nozzle made of galvanized steel. The base plate has threaded screws for attaching suction-side accessories (hole pattern according to DIN 24155, sheet 3). A protective grille is standard on the discharge side in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13857.

The high-performance radial impeller has backward-curved blades made of plastic and is dynamically balanced according to DIN ISO 1940-1. The speed-controllable single-phase AC external rotor motor is designed in a closed construction with IP44 protection, ball-bearing mounted with moisture protection insulation, and is maintenance-free as well as free from electromagnetic interference. The fan is standardly equipped with an external terminal box with IP 65 protection class.
