Vertical discharge EC roof fan featuring efficiency-optimized aluminum housing and a newly developed high-performance centrifugal impeller. The housing is made of seawater-resistant aluminum with integrated intrusion protection. The motor support plate and base plate with inlet nozzle are constructed from galvanized steel. The base plate includes threaded screws for attaching suction-side accessories, following the hole pattern to DIN 24155, sheet 3. A protective grille is standard on the outlet side in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13857. The high-performance centrifugal impeller has backward curved blades made of plastic and is dynamically balanced in accordance with DIN ISO 1940-1. This fan is equipped with an energy-saving, speed-controllable EC external rotor motor in an enclosed design rated IP 54, ensuring maximum efficiency. It features ball bearing mounting with moisture protection insulation, is maintenance-free, and operates interference-free. Integrated electronic temperature monitoring is provided for the EC motor and electronics. The fan comes standard with an external terminal box and external inspection switch, with a protection class of IP 65. It offers infinitely variable speed control via a potentiometer or a universal control system.
