The Intercable Tools inner sheath cutter 17231 is designed for stripping the primary insulation on MV cables from 6 to 45 kV. It features a lightweight, robust design made from light metals with an anodised surface for optimum sliding properties. The clamping system allows for easy positioning on the cable. It is capable of stripping end pieces with both spiral and circular cuts. The feed rate is selectable in five stages, and the cutting depth is adjustable from 0 to 15 mm. The stripping length is unlimited, and the stripping process can be stopped at any point on the cable. The cutter includes a replaceable blade made of hardened steel, with a maximum rotation diameter of 220 mm.
