Product details

CAN/CAN-FD Repeater with Screw Connector (without Bus Termination Resistor) The CAN Repeater CAN-CR100 with two CAN/CAN-FD interfaces can be used to enhance the robustness of the CAN bus with nodes, to physically couple CAN/CAN-FD bus systems, or to introduce galvanic isolation. The CAN Repeater provides the necessary flexibility to optimize the structure of CAN/CAN FD networks and liberate CAN networks from the constraints of the bus structure. Since no bus termination resistor is integrated, it offers flexibility in positioning resistors for CAN termination. A beneficial feature of the CAN Repeater is that it isolates a faulty segment from the rest of the network, allowing the remaining network to continue functioning. Once the fault is resolved, the segment is automatically reconnected to the network. The galvanic isolation is implemented for both the CAN/CAN-FD segments and the power supply, reliably increasing the protection of the device against damage to the electronics caused by voltage spikes. The CAN-CR100 is available in versions with and without integrated bus termination resistors.
