The plug-in sheath thermocouple with a 2.5 m long compensating cable is suitable for temperature measurement in liquid and gaseous media using the Seebeck effect. Its shock-resistant design ensures a long service life. The good heat transfer between the sheath and the thermocouple allows for short response times and high measurement accuracy.

Due to its properties, the sheath thermocouple is frequently used in chemical plants, power plants, pipelines, engine manufacturing, and test benches. The single thermocouple 1x NiCr-Ni K according to DIN EN 60584 (Class 2) is designed for temperatures from -200 to +1200 °C. The protective tube is made of Inconel 2.4816 material. The electrical connection is provided by a silicone-insulated compensating cable that withstands ambient temperatures from -50 to +180 °C. The connection ends are equipped with ferrules. The protective tube dimensions are 3.0 x 200 mm. The minimum bending radius is 5 times the outer diameter. The thermocouple is factory-insulated against the sheath.
