The KTC-500DAB digital radio adapter offers the easiest way to upgrade an existing car radio with features like digital radio and Bluetooth. Installation is particularly simple: the antenna, including the reception unit, is mounted on the windshield and connected to the car radio's AUX input and a power source, if available. The control unit communicates wirelessly with the receiver box and can be placed freely.

Flexible connection: The KTC-500DAB can easily be connected to the existing audio system via a standard AUX-in connection. Alternatively, the signal can also be transmitted to the car radio via FM signal from the integrated FM transmitter in the KTC-500DAB. This allows both the sound from the DAB+ receiver and music streamed wirelessly from a smartphone via A2DP Bluetooth profile to be played through the car speakers.

A2DP Bluetooth audio streaming: The built-in BT module in the KTC-500DAB can not only be used for hands-free calling but also supports the ability to wirelessly transfer audio files via A2DP profile from devices like smartphones or tablets to the KTC-500DAB. Additionally, control can be managed through the KTC-500DAB's control unit thanks to the AVRCP profile.
