This varnish serves as a transparent protective and topcoat for thoroughly dried paintings. It is water-based, conditionally weather-resistant, and saliva-proof. It can be used on various substrates and appears milky-cloudy in the glass, drying to a glossy, matte, or silk-gloss finish. For paint absorbent substrates, it is recommended to apply twice. The varnish dries in about half an hour and becomes waterproof afterward. Thinning and brush cleaning can be done with water.
