The MIT200 is one of the most compact insulation testers available on the market. With the option of one, two, or three test voltage measuring devices, the MIT200 series offers an impressive variety of safety and operational features. The display utilizes Megger's patented DART technology, providing a combination of digital and analog readings that merge the advantages of an LCD display—such as clear, accurate measurements and precise display values—with an analog needle movement for evaluating the charge and discharge characteristics of the circuit. The device housing is made of durable ABS to withstand the harsh conditions of everyday use, and it is small enough to be easily stored in a pocket or toolbox. It requires six AA cells for power: either standard alkaline batteries or rechargeable nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries. A battery level indicator warns of depleted batteries.
