The Metabo Bandsaw BAS 318 Precision WNB offers high precision and stability for the highest cutting quality. The smooth band operation is ensured by balanced flywheels with rubber coating. The adjustable HSS precision three-roller guide for the saw blade, both top and bottom, provides exact cutting results.

With two cutting speeds, different applications and materials can be processed. The precise parallel stop features double clamping and quick fixation.

The quiet induction motor is maintenance-free and robust. A restart protection prevents unintentional starting after power interruptions.

The comfortable tilt adjustment of the cast iron saw table allows for precise bevel cuts thanks to the gear rack guide. The saw blade change is simple with the quick-release lever and tool-free door opening.

A blade tension display with scale serves to monitor the blade tension. The saw blade guard can be adjusted in height without tools. An LED work light ensures good illumination of the cutting area.

There is an option for external dust extraction to work with minimal dust. The collected sawdust can be easily disposed of in a drawer.

A retractable table extension allows for the safe processing of large workpieces. With the circular cutting device (accessory), cutting of radii is possible, and with the band sanding device (accessory), surfaces and curved cuts can be re-sanded.

The base frame is equipped with wheels for easy repositioning.
