The patented "AIR COOLED" charging technology cools the battery pack in the charger with air – resulting in shorter charging times and longer lifespan. The capacity indicator allows for constant monitoring of the charge level. The battery pack can be stored for long periods with almost no self-discharge. An important advantage for users is the unlimited compatibility. Since 2009, battery packs of any generation fit all Metabo cordless machines of the corresponding voltage class, and every Metabo charger can charge all battery packs of the corresponding size.
