These self-locking mortise locks use an interior handle, panic bar, or push bar for operation. An exterior handle is mounted for operation. The interior handle is always firmly connected to the lock mechanism, allowing for unlocking the lock and opening the door from the inside, enabling individuals to exit the area or building at any time (panic function).
