The Nord-Lock® wedge locking washers made of stainless steel 254 SMO® provide a reliable solution for bolted connections in demanding environments. These special washers are designed for use in chloride-containing and corrosive environments, as well as in saltwater solutions. They feature an innovative clamping force technology that secures the connection through mechanical tension rather than relying on friction. The inside of the washers is equipped with wedge surfaces, while the outside has radial ribs that ensure improved stability. Additionally, these washers are reusable and have an enlarged outer diameter, which increases the contact area and makes them ideal for use in elongated holes or on soft materials like aluminum.
