The device is designed for continuous monitoring of CO concentration (carbon monoxide) in the air, as well as for detecting and alerting when the maximum safe concentration of this gas is exceeded. Exceeding the threshold gas concentration is indicated by optical and acoustic signals. It is recommended to install the device at least 1.5 to 2.0 meters above the ground.
