The modern VIFAR video intercom set consists of a 7-inch color LCD monitor in a white housing and an outdoor unit with a camera and input button. No handset is required for communication between the indoor and outdoor panels. Additional lighting of the outdoor unit with IR diodes ensures good night vision. The micro-SD card slot allows for viewing, recording, and storing video and photo files from the camera, enabling us to check who visited us even when we were not at home. Thanks to Wi-Fi connectivity and a simple app for smartphones or tablets with Android or iOS operating systems, the set can be controlled remotely. The included monitor features intercom functionality, gate control, and door opening capabilities. There is also the option to expand with additional elements from the series – up to 6 monitors, 2 cameras, and 2 outdoor units.
