Solar-Powered Battery Maintenance for Vehicles

Modern vehicles have a low but constant battery consumption. Many of the electrical systems remain permanently active, even when the ignition is turned off. Alarm systems, immobilizers, and lock monitoring are examples of systems that run in the background and can drain the battery, even when the vehicle is not in use. The OSPOBD is compatible with the OSRAM Solar Battery Maintainers OSP500, OSP1000, and OSP2000, allowing connection via the vehicle's OBDII port for a more efficient link than through the 12V socket. It provides a permanent connection between a solar module and your battery for long-term battery maintenance.
