The new PeakTech 3349 has been specifically designed for use in trades and industry, offering a variety of practical features that simplify daily work, especially in dark or noisy environments. The lighting of the large LCD display is automatically activated by a photodiode in low-light conditions. Additionally, there is a bright LED flashlight on the back of the device for illuminating the work area. Above the 6000-count digital display, there is a multicolored LED bar. Depending on the active measurement function, this lights up green for continuity testing, red for detected voltage in NCV mode, yellow for measuring large capacitances, or blinks red in the active phase tester mode (LIVE). It has been manufactured according to the latest development standards and features a double-insulated molded housing with rubber coating, as well as a service flap on the back that allows for the replacement of not only the batteries but also the fuses. The measurement range selection is manual on this device, enabling particularly fast response times.
