The spark guard is especially worthwhile when burning resinous woods, as they produce a significant amount of glowing particles. Safety comes first. Since the spark guard can also be secured to the tent or ground using ropes at the three eyelets, it remains firmly in place on the flue pipe even in strong winds. Additionally, the spark guard can also be used as a closure or seal for one of the tent openings if the versatile stove needs to be disassembled.
