The chuck mounting is identical to that of the lathe main spindle of the PD 400, with matching sliding blocks and mounting screws for T-slots according to Micromot standard (12 x 6 x 5 mm). The 4th axis for the FF 500/CNC fine milling machine. Designed for single part and small batch production. Suitable for the production of graduations, gears, and (also irregular) profiles. All angular positions can be approached in a computer-controlled manner. Easy horizontal and vertical setup. Drive via a powerful stepper motor (2.0 A) using a toothed belt and an almost spindle-free adjustable worm gear. The high reduction ratio provides enormous torque. Compatible with drive spindle with 14 mm bore and flange for faceplate, as well as all lathe chucks from the PD 400 lathe system. Reference position detection is achieved by a light barrier.
