There's no indication in the instructions that a "flat" installation can be carried out, so I'd say not. However, it doesn't make sense to put a radiator on the ceiling as the heat rises, so you'll be heating a lot for very little (this is just my opinion). Best regards
not CH plug... had to reorder adapter via support... after 1-2 weeks I had it all good with the adapter

Yes, I have done that too. However, the description says that this should not be done. But it worked for me without any problems. The first thing you have to do is turn off the fall-over detection via the app. Otherwise the heating starts beeping wildly because it thinks it has fallen over. I am satisfied.
