So you can only mount it upright. You can't mount it upside down because the column is only attached to the base. That wouldn't hold. It's best to buy the normal ones without a base for the wall. That's how I mounted a cable drum in my garage.

Hello, I wouldn't have any concerns about that. Simply rinse the hose well beforehand so that the old water is gone, if something comes out of the hose it is in the stagnant water.
The hose box has a two-year "bring in" guarantee, i.e. normal standard guarantee as with any new product. Additional warranty is not offered!
