This radio fits into an ordinary niche for a DIN2 radio.
The radio is very easy to use and the handsfree function is great.
If you have a double din slot, it should fit. As far as I know, the 2010 model has a 2 Din slot. (Radio with CD)

If you have a double Din slot, it will fit. As far as I know, the 06 has a double Din slot. (Radio on the top, then intermediate compartment and heater on the bottom) If you mount the radio, the intermediate compartment is omitted.

I don't think you are satisfied with the solution because you don't listen to music otherwise, unless you mean the Garmin app on your mobile phone and also run music via Bluetooth. But then you can just run the navigation on the device with CarPlay.

I have the radio in a Golf V GTI 2007 and it works perfectly. The installation also worked great.
