Hailo Stair landing TP1
Working platform, 93 cm
According to Suva, a quarter of all falls occur on stairs. Both when climbing and working on stairs, you should not rush or compromise on safety. This POD is stable and supports a ladder, a person and equipment/objects. Very good.
I would give it the rating "Suva-compliant" - although this is not official. If you want to know more, take a look at the vital rules, as well as
- https://www.suva.ch/treppenstu...
- http://suva.ch/67028_d.pd...: Portable ladders and steps
I also need the TP1 in the car:
- as a small camping table, docked to the open boot. The leg length of approx. 80-90cm corresponds to the height of the loading sill
- With the legs folded in, as a dog ramp from the road up to the boot sill
PS: The Hailo TP Plus stair platform is also available. This has 4 legs (at both ends of the board) and can therefore also be used without steps, as a free elevation / platform. However, you can use it just as well as the TP 1 on a staircase.

We can finally set up the ladder safely on the stairs

Lightweight, compact, stable, easy to use, foldable, takes up little space. I am very satisfied.

Work in curved stairs by getting a horisontal surface to put a ladder on top. Requires to be careful as one can still fall down if not careful.
When adjusting the platform on the stairs, you have to be careful not to pinch your fingers on the side hinges.
One star deduction for the spirit level, the display is not correct at all. If the platform is aligned according to the integrated spirit level, the platform is crooked. Better to use a separate spirit level (see picture) or the trained eye.
