Part No. 720-9248 is equipped with an integrated strainer and operates with slightly superheated steam. It features a thermostatic air vent. With excellent air release and a simple, compact design, these thermostatic steam separators and deaerators are ideal for use on process equipment such as kettle boilers, sterilizers, food processing, chemical, and laundry equipment. It has female threaded connections, a modulating drain, and drains condensate close to steam temperature. The thermostats allow for varying auxiliary cooling (5 K to 30 K) and provide excellent air drainage. The RS 7209239 operates on saturated steam while the RS 7209248 operates on slightly superheated steam.
