The galvanized RS Pro lock nuts feature a nylon insert. These nuts are designed to remain secure despite strong vibrations. The nylon insert seals the screw thread better against water leaks, oil, and other liquids. When the appropriate screw is inserted into the nylon insert, the screw thread compresses the nylon. Features and benefits: higher resistance to vibrations and torque, soft steel grade 8.8, retains locking ability up to 250 °C, resistant to organic acids, solvents, oil, and mineral salts, 360° sealing. Available from M5 to M20. Typical applications: used by construction companies, DIY enthusiasts, carpenters, and roofers. Pack of 100 pieces.
