The tool is part of the Original Line hand crimping tools for insulated terminals in the range of 6.0 mm² to 0.75 mm²/AWG 22 to AWG 10. It is designed to create consistent and reliable crimp connections at the end of splices or sleeves, commonly known as red, blue, and yellow terminals.

Symmetrical oval crimps are produced for both insulation and connection terminals, suitable for either right or left-handed users.

How to maintain the product:
For optimal function and longevity, lubricate axles and other moving parts regularly. Lubrication is recommended at least every 10,000 cycles, especially when the tool is exposed to dirt and other contaminants. Check the adjustment of the crimping fixtures and readjust the pressure adjustment shaft if the tool preload drops significantly. Use a light, mineral-free oil.

Instructions for use:
To open the tool, insert the terminal and wire into the crimp insert from the front. Close the tool to achieve a positive ratchet release. Caution: To release the ratchet mechanism, push the trigger forward while holding the handles.
