The GF3 SLIM - fiber optic rod Ø 3 mm is a cable pulling device without a meter counter. With a maximum diameter of just Ø 4.5 mm, it is ideally suited for retrofitting in occupied conduits or for fiber optic cable installation (FTTH - Fiber To The Home). The fiber optic rod Ø 3 mm features a patented RG4.5 guiding tip with twist compensation and is stored in an extremely impact-resistant plastic box. The newly developed RG4.5 guiding tip with front thread RTG Ø 3 mm, including twist compensation, allows for bending radii of up to R = 40 mm. The automatic retracting safety mechanism prevents the fiber optic rod from unintentionally sliding back into the box. The box can be opened for maintenance with just one screw on the back, allowing for the removal of the integrated accessory box, which contains a 14-piece accessory set. The included adapter thread with RTG Ø 3 mm internal thread to RTG Ø 6 mm external thread enables many combination options. Additionally, the box features an ergonomic carrying handle and an anti-slip coating on the back. The total breaking load of 100 kg refers to the fiber optic rod Ø 3 mm including the RG4.5 guiding tip with twist compensation. Optimal application area: for pipe inner diameters of Ø 5 mm - 40 mm.
