The development of the ECO230 series focused on the essential functions of measurement technology. A high-quality sensor is the heart of the measuring device, where no compromises were made despite the affordable overall price. Fast, precise, and high-resolution: resolution of 0.1 hPa (mbar) and resolution of the altitude display derived from pressure is 0.1 m. Barometric sensors are used in countless applications, such as in vehicles with combustion engines (air pressure as an important parameter for engine control), altimeters (calculating altitude using the barometric formula), navigation systems, smartphones, and of course, in weather stations. But is the displayed absolute pressure correct? With the optional calibration certificates, the barometer can serve as a perfect reference device to verify the actual accuracy of corresponding devices.

The three-line LCD display offers ergonomic wide-angle visibility thanks to the backlighting – both day and night. The HOLD function allows the display values to be frozen.

Power is supplied by two powerful AA batteries. The energy-saving design and configurable auto shut-off ensure long operation. Additionally, there is a configurable LCD backlight for further energy-saving options.
