The WL12-3P1161 small light barrier from Sick is a highly developed motion detector based on the principle of a reflective light barrier. It offers a maximum switching range of up to 2 meters and is ideal for applications where precise motion detection is required. The light barrier uses an LED as a light emitter, emitting visible red light to reliably detect objects. Thanks to autocolimation and coaxial optics, it does not require a minimum distance to the reflector, simplifying its installation and use. The small light barrier is robustly constructed and suitable for use in demanding environments, as it has an IP69K protection rating, making it resistant to dust and water. It comes with two mounting brackets and screws, facilitating installation.
