The NP20/140/400 perforated plate from Simpson Sst is a versatile connector made from hot-dip galvanized steel. With a steel grade of S 250 GD + Z 275 according to DIN EN 10346, it provides effective corrosion protection with a zinc coating thickness of approximately 20 µm. This perforated plate is specifically designed for structural timber construction and is ideal for the production of timber frame and collar beam trusses. It can be laid on wood and wood-based materials and is available in various standard sizes as well as custom cuts. The use of Simpson Strong-Tie® CNA nails or CSA screws allows for the calculation of load capacities according to EC5 or DIN 1052, which expands its application possibilities in construction practice. The perforated plate is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and offers a reliable connection due to its robust design.
