Use of an inverter
The inverter is used where direct current needs to be converted into alternating current. The alternating current from the power output operates devices that can otherwise only be powered through a 230V household connection. The Swaytronic inverter-chargers fulfill this task and enable the conversion of DC voltage (battery) to AC voltage. All our inverters feature a pure sine wave, ensuring the operation of all 230V AC consumers.
Advantages of a Swaytronic inverter-charger
Integrated charger
In addition to the primary function of converting direct current to alternating current, Swaytronic inverter-chargers come with an integrated charger, allowing the selection of the correct charging profile via a switch. Various battery types are supported. The chargers in the 1500W and 2500W models have a maximum charging current of 20A.
Priority switching
All inverter-chargers are equipped with a priority switching feature that automatically switches to external power when connected to shore power and activates the charger for battery charging (can be turned off separately).
Standby function
Swaytronic inverter-chargers have an automatic shutdown/standby function. The device automatically turns off after 10 minutes of operation below 25W at the output. This prevents unnecessary battery discharge.
