The VDE testing device TV 455 is designed as a professional, multifunctional, portable testing instrument for conducting all measurements necessary for a comprehensive inspection of electrical systems in buildings. The following measurements and tests can be performed:

  • Voltage and frequency
  • Continuity tests
  • Insulation resistance testing
  • Residual current device (RCD) testing
  • Fault loop/RCD trip impedance measurement
  • Line impedance/voltage drop
  • Phase sequence

Additionally, grounding resistance testing can be conducted. The graphical display with backlighting allows for easy reading of results, indicators, measurement parameters, and messages. Two pass/fail LED indicators are positioned on the sides of the LCD display.
