Description & Application Area

• The Thermo Proof Wood is a heavy-duty spacer system for houses built with timber frame or wooden stud construction.
• The Thermo Proof Wood is available in three lengths for standard insulation thicknesses of 60 mm, 80 mm, and 100-120 mm.
• The hanging screw with internal hex allows for a compact mounting structure required for cassette sun protection.
• The Iso Spacer with a large contact area prevents pressure on the facade.
• After installation, the gap between the Iso Spacer and the plaster should be sealed with an outdoor suitable sealant.

Processing & Installation

• Pre-drill the insulation board with a diameter of 20 mm (at least 45 mm deep).
• Pre-drill the post with a diameter of 8 mm.
• Screw the Iso Spacer, washer, and nut onto the hanging screw.
• Screw in the Thermo Proof Wood with pre-installed Iso Spacer, washer, and nut.
• Remove the washer and nut again and seal the gap between the plaster and the Iso Spacer with a suitable silicone or sealant.
• Install the fastening part.
