Grow your own Shiso. Also known as perilla leaves or Japanese parsley. The purple-leafed Shiso is characterized by a mild flavor that blends notes of basil, pepper, lemon balm, and cinnamon. Very decorative, it is also used as a base for food coloring. Shiso leaves are eaten raw in salads. Don't limit yourself to just the leaves; all parts of the plant are edible and aromatic.

Included in the package is a set with growing seeds that will sprout within 1-2 weeks. Your first harvest is expected to be ready for picking in about 4-5 weeks. For the next 3-4 months, you will have the opportunity to harvest your crop repeatedly until the plant is no longer productive.
