Wago spring-cage terminals are suitable for solid aluminium conductors up to 4 mm²/12 AWG when used with Wago "Alu-Plus" contact paste for termination. The advantages of the "Alu-Plus" contact paste include: automatically destroying the oxide layer during clamping, preventing renewed oxidation at the clamping point, preventing electrolytic corrosion between aluminium and copper conductors in the same terminal block, and providing long-term protection against corrosion. The extremely compact design allows for convenient cabling, and the push-in connection accommodates up to eight solid conductors. The cross-section range is 0.5 to 2.5 mm², allowing for any combination of conductor sizes. The push wire connection is designed to terminate solid copper conductors.
