With the 2wIP, a network connection can be established over a 2-wire line. Power over Ethernet (PoE) is also transmitted, allowing PoE devices (e.g., IP cameras, SIP phones, IP door intercoms) to operate without additional power supply. The 2wIP E-series provides a bandwidth of up to 200 Mbit/s over 2-wire or coaxial lines.

Connection setup:

• Establish a 2-wire connection between the transmitter and receiver, ensuring proper polarity in the bus system.
• Plug the end device into the 2wIP receiver.
• Connect the 2wIP transmitter to the network switch using a patch cable.
• Connect the power supply to the 2wIP transmitter, then plug the power plug into the socket.
• Done, the transmitters and receivers configure themselves automatically.
