On no account, however, may they be used to switch equipment on or off when voltage is present. The rated voltages and rated currents on this page are based on VDE ratings. Test/Disconnect Terminal. This terminal has a 4-mm test socket on the input and output side to which standard test leads can be connected. The disconnect function is activated by a screw in the orange housing, so it can be moved to open and close, and locked in place by tightening the screw.
