This station set has been specifically designed to meet MIL-SPEC / IPC standards to protect sensitive components from electrical overload using Weller's RT MS soldering tips. Weller offers a wide range of RT MS soldering tips with active heating element technology for components ranging from XL to XXL size. A safe soldering process is ensured by many features of the Weller WX station, such as temperature and tool locking, as well as tool-specific temperature settings. Integrated USB ports allow the WX stations, which act as table controls, to connect to and control solder fume extraction systems, preheating plates, and programmable controllers. Firmware updates and registration are quick and easy using USB sticks. Parameters such as standby temperatures and automatic shut-off times can be easily stored in the soldering iron. Parameters only need to be saved once, and the MS soldering iron can then use them with any WX station.
