Product details

To ventilate a housing, various cost- and time-intensive countermeasures have been implemented, such as interior heating, drilling, or external ventilation elements. Often, this meant that the high protection level IP 68 could no longer be guaranteed.

With VentGLAND, these methods are unnecessary. The cable gland features a microporous, liquid-tight membrane that allows the housing to "breathe," equalizing the different pressures inside and outside the housing. This significantly reduces the formation of condensation, while the high-tech membrane of VentGLAND seals the housing so that dirt and water cannot penetrate the interior. VentGLAND meets the highest requirements according to protection class IP 69K.
