The Steinel IR presence detector PD IR 4360-8 offers motion detection, presence detection, and light measurement for offices, meeting rooms, passageways, and more. The 360° IR presence detectors comply with sensNORM and are ideal for sensor-based standard requirements in the property sector. It features COM1, KNX, and DALI-2 IPD interfaces, with KNX supporting 2 light outputs including constant light control, logic gate, and other outputs and functions such as day/night switching and sabotage protection.
The range for motion detection is Ø 8 or Ø 24 m, while the presence detector function has a detection range of Ø 6 or Ø 7.5 m. Colour-matching, plug-in cover caps are included. It can be installed flush-mounted, surface-mounted, or on the ceiling. Setting and operation are managed via KNX bus and ETS. The programming mode can be activated remotely using Smart Remote control via an app.
Installation is made easy with a magnetic mounting bracket, and LED feedback ensures safe commissioning. The maximum installation height is 4 m, with the capability for parallel connection of up to 10 sensors. The current consumption is 15 mA at 24V. Available in black or white.
