Can I use this travel adapter occasionally (20 minutes) for a 2000W appliance (Tefal Access Steam Force hand steamer)?

To the original question: Yes, you can. It is specified for a maximum of 2500W. So it should be able to deliver 2000W. However, voltage peaks can sometimes lead to more power. A fuse should be able to handle this.

However, I cannot judge whether one may, should etc. The answer from Gschwinds above is better! Much better!

Travel adapters are prohibited for the permanent use of electrical appliances in Switzerland.
Permanent does not refer to a temporally defined limit of e.g. 20 minutes per month. Permanent means that the device is used exclusively in Switzerland and does not leave Switzerland again after, for example, a holiday.

For the permanent use of electrical devices, only so-called fixed adapters are permitted as adapters https://www.digitec.ch/search

Digitec (or any other Swiss dealer) is obliged to supply electrical appliances with a Swiss plug. If the appliance is supplied with a foreign plug, a suitable replacement cable should be supplied if the mains cable is pluggable or, alternatively, a suitable adapter if the mains cable is permanently connected.

If the appliance is delivered without a suitable plug, complain to the customer service and insist on a cable or an adapter, free of charge.
