Dear brunoleo, I can't quite answer your question about changing the battery. The case is screwed down with special screw heads and it would be possible to open it. My device is still under warranty, so I can't look inside the case (yet). You would have to ask the manufacturer if a replacement would be supplied?! I think that with a little "skill" the change can be made. With careful maintenance, the battery should last a long time. Kind regards peterbenz4
