Yes, the WEBER Q1000 gas barbecue can be operated with a refillable propane/butane gas bottle using a special adapter and extended hose. (We bought it from Weber Accessories and were able to connect it well). It is a very practical grill and easy to clean. We had it with us when camping.

With an appropriate reducing valve/adapter (30mbar) and hose, suitable for a "normal" gas bottle, the barbecue can be operated perfectly with a refillable gas bottle. Be careful when changing the hose, the regulating unit (by the black knob) can easily break, so it is best to remove it briefly (see instructions in the barbecue) and loosen the hose with a counter spanner (!! left-hand thread!!).

By the way, it's a great grill!
