Question about Garmin DriveSmart 65 Full EU MT-D
Digital Traffic Information (DAB), is it necessary to have the DAB antenna in the car? Or does the system detect it automatically? Because I don't have DAB but still have the FM system which is going to be removed.

I'm not sure if this is a good idea, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea. However, I returned the GPS because traffic information was not at all representative of what was happening on the road (traffic jams not reported, slow information updates, etc.) so maybe there was a problem with the DAB after all? Also the guidance system didn't seem to work very well for me as I tested it for a few days with my Tomtom GPS and the Garmin was proposing fancy routes.
I wanted to replace my Tomtom because with the abandonment of 2G in Switzerland, the traffic service only worked through a mobile phone connection. I hope that my answer is useful to you.
