Do I see that correctly? The D235 model can be connected directly to the router without a hub?

Thanks, I also got the chime (not hub), I see the videos on the iPhone and it works fine, but I don't get any messages when they ring the doorbell

The D235 model can be connected directly to the router via radio (WLAN), a separate hub is not absolutely necessary. The doorbell establishes a Wi-Fi connection to the router in order to communicate with the Tapo app. However, a Tapo Hub/Chime can also be connected as a ringtone extension, but this is optional and not a must for the basic function. (Manufacturer information and user experience confirm the direct WLAN connection without a hub).
