If the cylinder protrudes beyond the door leaf, it is relevant. The base plate of the U200 is only for EU cylinders.

It depends on your lock. If you have the cilinder protruding from the door, you will have to enlarge the hole in the baseplate to 22 mm - if it is flush, you are lucky. The connectors for key or knob will fit the Swiss key or Kaba knob without alterations. In case your door has a knob on the inside instead of a key, you’ll have to remove the knob and directly put the connector to the rod. Again, if the cilinder is protruding a lot from the door, you might have to shorten the connector.

I don't think it matters.
We installed it with a CH cylinder. Just put the key in and put the lock on. It was much easier than described.
The only disadvantage is that we can no longer open it from the outside with the key.
