Question about Bosch Professional GCD 12 JL

Has anyone had any experience with Inox? The Bosch saw blade for Inox seems to be very short-lived. Generally speaking, Inox seems to be a tough nut to crack. A youtuber has tested how long his blade lasts (not Bosch). The blade for $150 was no longer usable after 25 cuts...

I have cut d10 Inox round steel in bulk with the original saw blade from Bosch, it went well, but you should never apply too much pressure and never (I have damaged the blade with it) put several on top of each other to be faster.

The saw blade supplied is not suitable for stainless steel. Use the following Bosch saw blade:
Bosch Professional circular saw blade Expert for Stainless Steel (stainless steel, 255 x 25.4 x 2.5 mm, 50 teeth, circular saw accessory)
Orig. no. 2 608 644 286

Unfortunately, I can't help you with Inox. But... the saw is a blast! I've been using it regularly for 2 years with various construction and tool steels, wood and plastic, still with the first blade. For the ambitious do-it-yourselfer who doesn't do series production, it's absolutely fine. Only the chip collector and the "laser" are not useful.

I still have limited experience with this machine. I cut a few 150 x 10 mm stainless steel flats and that went well. Based on my training in precision mechanics and Sandvik Coromant's recommendations, high cutting speeds should be used with hard metal tools such as the Bosch blade (eg.(e.g. 150 - 250 m/min for austenitic stainless steels such as AISI 304) and avoid overheating and work hardening at all costs. With this saw, the cutting speed is around 1400 m/min, which is very high. The contact force will have a direct impact on energy dissipation (heat), so I think that as long as the heat is not excessive the blade should last reasonably long. I've also chosen to let the machine work at medium force to limit the size of the chips. For the moment all's well and I'm equipped with a small diamond wheel (cheap) to sharpen when the time comes.

YouTube is a big bin full of all kinds of nonsense and certainly not a reference point for RELIABLE information. I could demonstrate and damage a $17,588 blade in less than 10 minutes :-)
Bosch Pro technical service provides information on the quality of its cutting tools.
If you want your cutting tools to last longer, you should also learn about the type of material and cutting speeds.
Feed speed (centimetres/minute) and plunge speed depending on the thickness of the raw material, the diameter and number of teeth of your blades.
