Yes, you need it. Available from Pioneer for gluing to the windscreen (inside). Make sure the bars are properly grounded. Everything is provided for installation if you install in a normal DIN slot (grid frame for caulking in the opening). Depending on the brand/model, the +connection must be changed (continuous current/ignition current).
