hello, i have a US haircutter that makes a lot of noise here in CH, research shows that you should convert from 60 to 50 Hz, is this the right converter? thanks GR

Helpful answer

I think this little converter only converts the voltage from 230 to 110 volts and does not manipulate the frequency. This is 60Hz in the US grid and 50Hz in CH/Europe.

The mains frequency is not influenced/converted. Only the voltage is reduced to 110 V. Therefore the output frequency is 50Hz.
