Hello I have the following questions for you I hope someone can help me. We have a holiday home and I would like to monitor it when I am away. As it is in the mountains and I don't have cable internet, would it be possible to run this via a mobile hotspot with sim card if so what power would be needed. Does it need a subscription to Arlo?
They cannot influence the performance of the SIM card subscription - at most they can increase it a little if they add 5G - but that depends on the location of the house and the mobile phone antenna. Also important: that all cameras can be supplied with sufficient WiFi signal.
I would just try it and clarify first: Do I have enough mobile signal for camera surveillance...?
