The battery time depends very much on the usage. For me, the camera only runs at night with hardly any messages. I charged it for the last time many weeks ago and it is still 93% charged. I assume 5-6 months. Data stored locally on my computer.

I have never tested it, but the internet says "A battery warning is sent in good time via the app, about a week before the charge level reaches 0 per cent". Since I check the cam once a day anyway, this is secondary for me. For me, the battery lasts about 3 months in winter and in a rain-protected area. But I only get about 10-15 events per day. But I have set the battery mode to "optimal". I have a power bank that I connect when the battery is low, which is pretty uncomplicated and the cam is quickly recharged. I can't say anything about the encryption. Greetings
